Yandex offers bank card in partnership with Alfa-Bank, Tinkoff Bank
MOSCOW, Apr 23 (PRIME) -- Russian Internet company Yandex has partnered with local Alfa-Bank and Tinkoff Bank to offer Yandex.Plus credit and debit cards, which will give users up to 10% in cashback on purchases of over 15 Yandex services and up to 5% in cashback on other deals, the Internet giant said Tuesday in a statement.
“With the new Yandex.Plus debit or credit card, everyone will benefit from great bonuses and rewards on their everyday purchases – all without an annual fee. Cardholders who use the Yandex ecosystem will enjoy even greater benefits, with generous cash back offers on fifteen Yandex services,” the Internet company’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Greg Abovsky said.
“Users of the Yandex.Plus card will receive cash back on their Yandex.Taxi rides, online food orders delivered by Yandex.Eats, and e-commerce transactions on Beru, among others.”
The Yandex.Plus card is a World Mastercard credit or debit card.
The bank card has no membership fees. Cashback rewards are paid to the card in rubles every month. The card will be available for customers in Russia starting on Tuesday.
